A skull tattoo is a skull tattoo

A skull tattoo is a skull tattoo, right? Wrong. There are so many different things a good artist can do with a skull that there really is not enough space on this page to explain it all but we’ll try to give you an idea just the same. Some have flames coming out of them while others have daggers sticking in them and the list goes on and on. This one in particular has some wild red bloodshot eyes and it’s mouth is open as if it were ready to take a bite out of anyone who comes too close.

Most of us consider a skull to be a bit of a creepy or ghostly thing but that is not every body. Some people find skulls to be fun and friendly looking. That may be hard to believe but it is true. Some people attach the symbolism of death and decay to skulls while others may attach the symbolism of life, at some level, after death. Or even the same symbolism of death and such but as it refers to happening to you and not them. In other words if I am wearing a skull tattoo stay away from me. Obviously skull tattoos became synonymous with biker gangs in the 60′s and 70′s and while a lot of that is gone now, a lot remains.
